In days of old Edinburgh folk gathered at the Mercat Cross to enjoy gruesome and bloody entertainment. Mercat Tours continues this age-old tradition with this terrifying late-night stroll. Feast your ears on tales of the macabre told dramatically by our cloaked guide. Descend into haunted underground vaults. Walk through a deserted moonlit churchyard. Why can voices be heard to this day in an empty guesthouse room? What gave off the foul stench that greeted the Duke at his Edinburgh home? What was the link between Major Weir and Satan? Special Terms and Conditions:
Children under 16 are not allowed on the Ghost Hunter Trail, due to the nature of its content. All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. A place on an alternative tour cannot be guranteed if you fail to turn up on time.
On receipt of your order, we will process the booking and then contact you by email with confirmation vouchers and full details of your package within 2 working days. Bookings processed outside of office hours will be processed on the first working day after the booking has been submitted.

Most of the queries we receive about non-arrival of confirmation emails are from AOL and Hotmail addresses. This is because the confirmation email includes an attachment to the voucher which AOL finds unacceptable.
